Follow me on twitter @WritingSpirit to stay up-to-date on #writechat, and other information of vital interest to writers!
To help writers make the most of the wonderful ability to make connections with other writers on twitter, I created #WriteChat in February, 2009.
Every Sunday at 12:00 pm PST / 3:00 pm EST (and lasting approximately 3 hours), I start #writechat by asking, "What do you want to talk about?" As #writechat is about connecting with and supporting each other as writers, feel free to ask about, and discuss, anything and everything about the writing life and this creative journey we all share. Some of the topics we talk about include:
- The Writing Process
- Writing Blocks
- Editing
- Platform Building
- Plot and Character Creation
- Book Proposals
- Finding an Agent
- The Publishing Process
- Ebooks
- Book Promotion
- ... and more!
To help you connect with other writers, share what kind of writing you do, what genres interest you, where you’re at on the writing/publishing journey, or anything else that’s swirling around your mind and heart about this writing life.
- Join in
- Don’t just follow—chat and connect!
- Have fun

As many writers participate in #writechat every week, the conversation goes quite quickly, and there are many conversations going on at once. So don't worry if you can't read every post when the conversation is jumping. Relax, enjoy, and trust that you'll meet the right people, get the support you're looking for, and have a wonderful time.

Lurking on #WriteChat for a few minutes led to a break-through on how to approach an article. Thank you @WritingSpirit + fellow writers.
