2011 is certainly starting off with a bang! The S.H.I.N.E. Online Blogging Challenge already has over 130 bloggers focused on making their blogs SHINE! As I think about where I want to take my blog in the new year, I feel a deep appreciation for all those who read my blog posts in 2010 and let me know through thier comments, tweets, and emails how helpful the information was, and how much it meant to them.

Building a new habit can be challenging, so it's important to create support into your commitment to change. Having a plan, and a way to keep track of how well you follow that plan, can be extremely helpful.
A common question I get is, "When should I start promoting my book?" The answer is... the sooner the better! If you just came up with the idea, great--start promoting it.
I'm a HUGE twitter fan, and especially love twitter chats. Not every chat goes the distance, but those that do can exert a powerful influence over the participants, and turn the chat's creator into a leader in their niche.
