It's October 1st and Amazon has chosen another 100 ebooks to discount for the month.
100 Kindle Books for $3.99 or less -- October 2011
They have a wide variety of novels and non-fiction books to choose from, including Seth Godin's new book, We Are All Weird, a couple of Paulo Coelho's books, fantasies, thrillers, a vegetarian cook book, and so much more.
I just bought one of their sale books that I've been wanting to read for a long time, W.P. Kinsella's Shoeless Joe, which became the film, Field of Dreams. In fact, I added it to my wish list in July, and now I get to check it off my list!
Kindle's Best Books of the Month -- October 2011
This is a much shorter list, only 10 books, including two new releases: Alice Hoffman's The Dovekeepers, and Charles Frazier's Nightwoods. Also included is the 944 page novel 1Q84, that takes place over the course of a single year--1984--by Haruki Murakami, which has been called, “a love story, a mystery, a fantasy, a novel of self-discovery, and a dystopia to rival George Orwell’s."
And don't forget the Kindle Daily Deal that sharply discounts one ebook every day for a 24 hour period. The Daily Deal is posted on twitter and facebook, or you can have Amazon send the daily offer right to your email inbox.

How many ebooks do you want up on Amazon by the end of the year?
(Legalese: To be clear...I am an Amazon affiliate. Ergo, and ipso facto, if you click on any of these links, I may make a few pennies on every dollar you spend. But, rest assured, I will buy books with any money I make, so Amazon will end up getting every single penny, and perhaps, if we have the same tastes, one of your favorite authors will end up getting two royalties from your purchase instead of just one.)
